Acton Academy Kingwood

Acton Academy Kingwood is a K-12 school located in Porter, TX, on a 2.5-acre property. We have a gated property, optimizing safety and privacy. Our school grounds create an enchanting environment, with a vibrant tapestry of recreational experiences, where wooded wonderlands invite exploration, open sports fields spark joyful activity, and a treasure trove of free-play materials ignites creativity and imagination.

We currently serve learners ages 4 to 14 (with a middle school studio coming in 2026, and a high school studio coming soon), offering a learner-driven education that connects academic growth with real-world experiences and a deep appreciation for nature.

At Acton, we place curiosity and independence at the heart of everything we do. Our learners embark on their own Hero’s Journey, discovering their unique gifts and building the confidence and skills they need to thrive. Our program includes Socratic discussions, hands-on Quests, and enrichment opportunities like gardening, art, entrepreneurship, and science projects.

With a blend of the natural world and innovative learning, Acton Academy Kingwood is a place where young people learn to think critically, solve real-world problems, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
